Always keep an eye out for high tier sellable loot (most class items will sell for gold cap per the difficulty/act) so you can stack gold and gamble for amulets looking for high mf rolls and/or high res +skill rolls, its a slow and steady process but as I said it’s the easiest on sorc and you’ll definitely see a huge change. In hell you’ll have more troubles with cold immunes so i would recommend, HIGHLY, that you stick to nightmare farming for a good bit just to learn how to play sorc efficiently and avoid death as much as possible while learning blizz placement and of course look for high mf or progression gear. You’d get 72 off helm and 96 off chest, now obviously this would mean your defenses would be impacted but your blizz damage at 60-80 will be enough to oneshot most if not all mobs and chunk bosses in their respective difficulties, nightmare on the low end and hell on the high end. Once you have those to give you a minor boost to skills, I would try to get a 3 socket helmet and 4 socket armor and slap 7 perfect topaz’s in them. Spirit runeword will add + skills so you could double up on that, ie having both a sword spirit and shield with spirit (if you’re not able to do that then spirit + rhyme is more than okay). Much like others have said, Going full blizz + synergies + 1 point wonders like warmth, tele, frost armor etc is 100% the easiest way to get yourself to a high damage output but also not be dependent on gear.
